We were intending to try the Mariott high-tea buffet which PC recommended but the restaurant was full house... The host suggested that we sit on tables set outside the restaurant, near the atrium of the hotel... Hmmm, it was away from the buffet spreads and the ambience was totally off... Ling was saying that it look like a 2nd class options... Why would we pay the same amount but being at 2nd class... We left the place with very little options left...
Checked out Merchant Court Hotel but they only have buffet on weekends... Then GoodWood Park Hotel only serves "Perankan buffet"... At last, we settled for Carousel in Royal Plaza on Scotts Hotel... I was against the idea at first... The foods were not to my likings on my previous visit months back...
The "Shasimi"
The "Lor Mee"...
The "Rojak"...
With 3 against 1, we end up at Carousel... I realised that the restaurant is newly renovated... Not bad ambience... The foods spreads was so-so... Only the "shasimi" is my favourites among the rest... Being buffet and after paying $28/per person (after cr. card -15% discounts) we end up eating more than we usually do... That is one bad thing about buffets... Eat eat and eat...
Was so full that I forced myself to attend Liyi's combat at Orchard with the rest... I told them that we must beware that we don't perform the "fountain dance" or being "Merlion" in class... haha...
Was surprised to see Juz and Nic in class too... Had fun...
