3D2N National Day Batam Trip

National day long weekends was spent travelling to Batam with my colleagues and Ian... This time round, PC coordinated everything with Ian... Dean, ChaiHong, ChanHwei, Kevin and Anna were in too...

Met at Harbour Front at 8a.m... We boarded the 8:30a.m. ferry that took about 45mins to Batam...

Arriving at Batam, we were welcomed by our tour guide, Lawrence from Desindo Travel... Boarded a mini bus with another group for a day tour...

First destination was to an old Vietnamese Village...
Second destination to Chinese Temple...
Third destination to 555 Golden Prawn restaurant for seafoods lunch...
Forth destination to Local tibits shop...
Fifth destination to Polo Shop...

Standing in front of an old chapel..

I'm at the "Dragon Fruits" plantation...

In front of the hotel we stayed... The one year old I-hotel...

In front of the toys shop...

Kevin spent sooo much on toys... He is a Very Big Kids... haha...

Waiting for our delicious Indonesian foods at Saung Sunda Sawargi

The yummy "Ikan Bakar"...

Look at the satisfied full people...hehe

Me having the facial treatment that is in my SPA package...

The spa package was so cheap... 3.5hours of full body massage with body scrub, body masque, foot reflexology and facial treatment that costs only SGD$55.00 ... Not bad hor... and it was good clean massage by professional masseur... I will definitely return... Check out www.eska-wellness.com

Kevin and ChanHwei reliving their childhood days...

These "Satay" is from the coffee shop near our hotel...

Not bad and very cheap too...

RP12,000 for 10 sticks which is like SGD$0.18 per stick...

Somehow I find that the groceries and toiletries is sooo much cheaper in Batam... But be careful, you tends to spend more than necessary... hehe...

Looking for more bargains...haha

Nothing is sooo much relaxing then dipping in the warm jacuzzi in the hotel after a long day out...

3D2N is sooo short when you are having fun...

Enjoyed the trip and the company...
